Mox strategy
Waves of Aggression is a strong combat-scaling finisher in aggressive and midrange decks. Its main strength is converting one attack step into two, letting you double combat damage, trigger attack effects again, and push through lethal from an otherwise stable board.
Best with creatures that have attack triggers, combat-damage triggers, or exert-style one-shot pressure. It gets much better with extra land cards in hand because retrace lets you keep reusing it from the graveyard, turning spare lands into repeated burst turns.
Key synergies include token swarms, haste enablers, and cards that care about attacking multiple times in a turn. It also works well with equipment, anthem effects, and creatures that generate mana or value on attack, since the extra combat compounds both damage and triggers.
Gameplay-wise, it supports explosive alpha strikes, repeated pressure over long games, and graveyard-based inevitability. The biggest practical tip is to save it for turns where an extra combat either wins immediately or creates such a big swing that the retrace cost is worth paying later.
