Mox strategy
Tournament Grounds is a strong fixing land for decks built around Knights and Equipment, especially in Orzhov/Mardu shells. Its main strength is efficient early-color access while also turning into flexible color mana later for relevant spells.
Best use cases: aggressive Knight tribal, Equipment-heavy midrange, and Commander decks with a dense Knight/Equipment package. It’s at its best when most of your nonland spells fit the restriction, so it functions like a dual land with upside.
Key synergies: cheap Knights, Equipment-heavy curve tops, and cards that care about casting those types repeatedly. It pairs especially well with cards that want multiple colored pips in Knight/Equipment decks and with equipment-based tempo plans where early mana smoothing matters.
Gameplay role: mana fixing, tribal support, and spell-type restriction payoff. It’s not a generic multicolor land, but in the right deck it’s excellent because it cleanly supports both tempo and color requirements.
