Mox strategy
Ral and the Implicit Maze is a slower, value-oriented red Saga that fits best in spell-heavy, midrange, or Commander decks rather than fast aggro.
Primary strengths: chapter I gives efficient mass chip damage to opposing creatures and planeswalkers, chapter II filters cards and can generate extra card access, and chapter III leaves behind a Spellgorger Weird that grows quickly in noncreature-spell decks.
Best use cases: board-control shells that want incidental damage, Izzet/spellslinger decks, and decks that can reliably discard spare cards for tempo and card selection.
Strong synergies: looting, flashback, jump-start, escape, or graveyard-recursion effects make chapter II much better; cheap instants and sorceries rapidly grow the Weird; cards that copy or recur Sagas can extend the value.
Key mechanics it supports: sweep damage, temporary card advantage via exile-play access, and a threat that scales with spell density.
Overall: playable but not premium; strongest when your deck is built to exploit both spell velocity and extra value from a delayed, incremental engine.
