Mox strategy
Oko, Thief of Crowns is an extremely powerful value planeswalker that dominates board states by turning opposing threats into harmless 3/3 Elks while also generating Food to stabilize your life total and fuel artifact synergies. Its best use is in efficient green-blue shells that can protect it early, since Oko snowballs quickly if unanswered.
Strong synergies include artifact-matter decks, Food support, and decks that can exploit the +1 by neutralizing opposing creatures, artifacts, or your own disposable permanents for utility. The −5 is especially threatening with cheap creatures or artifacts you’re happy to donate away, letting you steal nearly anything with power 3 or less and create a huge swing.
Key mechanics it supports: planeswalker value engines, token generation, artifact synergies, life gain, and soft removal that bypasses indestructible by removing abilities and changing creature size. In commander and vintage-style environments, it’s a premium staple for tempo, control, and midrange decks.
