Leo's Guidance

Leo’s Guidance is a solid combat trick and tempo card for go-wide or +1/+1 counter decks. Its main strength is spreading counters across up to three creatures while also untapping them, which can create surprise blockers, win combat, or let you attack with creatures that were tapped for other costs. It’s strongest when you can exploit untap effects, vigilance-like attacks, or counter synergies such as proliferate, hardened-scale style payoffs, or cards that care about creatures entering combat larger. It also pairs well with creatures that tap to activate abilities, since you can use them and then untap them. Key gameplay use: best in limited or casual decks that want flexible combat blowouts and incremental board growth. It’s less impressive in decks with only a few creatures or where holding up three mana is too slow.
