Mox strategy
Dungeon Map is a slow, but reliable source of repeatable dungeon advancement in dedicated venture decks. Its main strength is flexibility: early it can fix mana by tapping for colorless, and later it turns excess mana into steady dungeon progression at sorcery speed.
It’s best in decks that want to consistently trigger venture without spending cards, especially builds with payoffs for entering rooms, completing dungeons, or repeated venture triggers. It combines well with other venture cards that care about room progression, and with untap effects or artifact-mana support to help pay the 3 activation more efficiently.
Key mechanics it supports are venture into the dungeon, room advancement, and incremental value over time. In most decks it’s more of a support piece than a standout card, but in a dungeon-focused shell it helps keep your engine moving.
