Mox strategy
Drelnoch is a low-rate 3/3 for 5 mana, but it can generate a huge card advantage swing if opponents are forced to block it. Its best use is in decks that can make combat awkward, such as ones with trample, menace, evasion support, or ways to force blocks, since it turns blocking into a draw-two trigger.
It pairs well with effects that encourage or require blocking, or that give it evasion so the opponent has to choose between taking damage and giving you cards. Bounce, pump, and combat tricks can also help you profit from the trigger while keeping it alive.
Key mechanic supported: combat-triggered card draw. It rewards aggressive board states and can punish chump blocks, but it’s slow and vulnerable without help, so it’s usually a niche include rather than a staple.
