Vigilance (Attacking doesn't cause this creature to tap.)
When Donatello enters, tap up to three target creatures your opponents control. Put a stun counter on each of them. (If a permanent with a stun counter would become untapped, remove one from it instead.)
Mox strategy
Donatello, Rad Scientist is a strong control-oriented finisher: a 5/6 vigilance body for 6 mana that immediately blanks multiple opposing attackers or blockers by tapping up to three creatures and adding stun counters.
Best use cases:
- Midrange/control decks that want a stabilizing top-end
- Blue decks that can protect a large tempo swing
- Any deck that can exploit a turn of frozen blockers to push damage or set up a safe attack
Synergies:
- Blink, bounce, or reanimate effects to reuse the enter-the-battlefield tap/stun trigger
- Proliferate or stun-counter support to keep key opposing creatures locked down longer
- Cards that reward tapping creatures or taking tempo advantage after a board stall
Gameplay mechanics it supports:
- Tempo denial and board control
- ETB value
- Stun counter manipulation
- Vigilance-based pressure, since it can attack while still holding back defensively
Overall: powerful if you can reliably leverage the ETB trigger, but at six mana it wants a shell that can either recur it or capitalize immediately on the tempo swing.
