Mox strategy
Distorted Curiosity is a very efficient card-draw spell in decks that can reliably turn on corrupted. For just U, drawing two cards is excellent rate, but the card is only truly strong when an opponent already has 3+ poison counters.
Best use cases: poison/infect shells, proliferate decks, and any build that can consistently poison opponents early. In those decks, it becomes a cheap reload spell and helps keep pressure flowing. Outside corrupted, 3 mana for draw two is playable but unexciting.
Key synergies: poison creatures, toxic, infect, proliferate, and cards that give incidental poison counters quickly. It’s especially good alongside fast poison enablers that make the cost reduction live by turns 2-4.
Mechanically, it rewards aggressive poison strategy and resource conversion: deal poison early, then cash in for efficient card advantage. Good inclusion if your deck is built to enable corrupted; otherwise, there are stronger blue draw options.
