Enchant basic land you control
When this Aura enters, exile target creature an opponent controls until this Aura leaves the battlefield.
Mox strategy
Dimensional Exile is a niche white Aura that functions like temporary spot removal for a basic land you control. Its main strength is that it can immediately exile an opposing creature while also sticking around as a repeatable source of pressure as long as the Aura remains on the battlefield.
Best use cases are in limited or slower enchantment-focused decks, especially if you have easy ways to protect, bounce, or recur Auras. It’s strongest when you can put it on a low-value basic land and don’t mind the risk of a 2-for-1 if the land or Aura gets removed.
Key synergies:
- Enchantment recursion or blink-style loops to reuse the exile trigger
- Enchantment-matters cards that reward cheap Auras
- Protection for the enchanted land to keep the exiled creature locked away
Gameplay role:
- Conditional removal with a unique “prison” effect
- Encourages careful sequencing and board-state management
- Best as a value play in decks that can minimize Aura risk
Overall, it’s playable but fragile, and much better in synergy-heavy casual or limited environments than in competitive constructed.
