Mox strategy
Collective Resistance is a flexible sideboard and modal protection spell for green. Its main strength is efficiency: at base it answers either an artifact or enchantment for 1G, and in the right board state it can scale to do both or also protect a key creature with hexproof and indestructible.
Best use cases are in metas with problematic artifacts/enchantments, or in decks that want a toolbox instant that can also save a win condition from removal or combat. The protection mode is especially strong when you need to force through damage, survive a sweeper, or blank spot removal.
Its biggest synergy is with green decks that can hold up mana easily and value flexibility over raw rate. Escalate makes it much better in longer games, and it pairs well with big threat decks, Voltron-style strategies, and midrange decks that already run proactive answers to permanents. It also plays well with token or ramp shells that can afford to keep open mana.
Overall, it’s a strong utility card, not a main-deck staple everywhere, but very solid if your deck needs versatile interaction and occasional combat protection.
