Mox strategy
Burnished Hart is a slow but very reliable ramp piece, especially in Commander and other midrange/control decks that want to hit higher mana totals and fix land drops. Its main strength is that it converts a small investment into two basic lands directly onto the battlefield, which is strong in decks that care about land count, sacrifice value, or colorless artifact support.
Best synergies include recursion and blink-style lines: bringing it back with reanimation or artifact recursion lets you ramp repeatedly, and sacrificing it on demand pairs well with effects like graveyard value engines, death triggers, and sacrifice payoffs. It’s also better in decks with landfall or extra land-drop payoffs, since it effectively adds two more lands to trigger those effects.
Key mechanics it supports are ramp, sacrifice, artifact recursion, and basic-land fixing. It’s strongest when you can afford a turn spent setting up and when the deck can reuse it; it’s weaker in faster formats or decks that need immediate mana.
