Mox strategy
Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos is a strong token/value engine for Phyrexian- and artifact-creature-heavy decks. Its main strength is repeatedly generating incubate tokens off your creature casts, which turns every relevant spell into board presence and future pressure. The 3/4 body also blocks well and survives a fair amount of combat.
Best use cases are Commander and slower midrange decks that can reliably chain Phyrexian creatures, artifact creatures, and sacrifice effects. It gets much better with cheap artifact creatures, token producers, and ways to trigger or profit from deaths, since the end-step proliferate rewards a Phyrexian dying under your control.
Key synergies include sacrifice outlets, token-fodder loops, and any deck that uses +1/+1 counters, incubate, or proliferate payoffs. Cards that create multiple Phyrexians or artifact creatures are especially strong because they can snowball board size quickly. Proliferate also helps incubators, poison, planeswalkers, and any counter-based strategy you’re supporting.
Practical tip: build around density and death triggers. Brimaz is at its best when your deck consistently casts the right creature types every turn and can convert those free incubate tokens into immediate pressure or sacrifice value.
