When Bosco enters, create a Food token for each legendary creature you control. (It's an artifact with "2, T, Sacrifice this token: You gain 3 life.")
2G, Sacrifice a Food: Put two +1/+1 counters on Bosco. He gains trample until end of turn.
Mox strategy
Bosco, Just a Bear is a solid self-contained green threat for Commander-style decks, especially ones that already run multiple legendary creatures. Its main strength is turning your board of legends into a burst of Food tokens, then converting those tokens into repeatable combat growth and trample. A 4/4 for 5 mana is fair, but it scales well if you can trigger the Food generation for 2 or more.
Best use cases: legendary-creature-heavy decks, Food/token shells, and midrange builds that want a mana sink and a resilient attacker. It plays best when you can stockpile Foods early and then cash them in to make Bosco a must-answer threat.
Strong synergies: legends-matter commanders, Food support like Academy Manufactor or Trail of Crumbs-style engines, and token doublers that increase the Food payoff. Extra sacrifice outlets or artifact recursion also help if your deck wants repeated value from the Food tokens.
Key mechanics it supports: legendary density, Food artifact generation, sacrifice-to-grow scaling, and trample-based damage pushing. It rewards board presence and resource conversion, making it better in decks that can reliably keep legendary permanents in play.
