Flying, trample
Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player, untap it. After this phase, there is an additional combat phase.
This creature can't attack a player it has already attacked this turn.
Mox strategy
Bloodthirster is a strong finisher for aggressive red decks and Commander voltron shells. A 6/6 flying trample body ends games quickly, and chaining extra combat phases can snowball into lethal damage if it connects even once.
Best with haste enablers, protection, and evasion support so it can attack immediately and safely connect. It also pairs well with double strike, damage doublers, and cards that let you untap or recur attackers. Combat-damage triggers are the main payoff, so effects like extra combat steps, equipment, and pump spells make it much stronger.
Primary use case: closing games fast by repeatedly attacking in the same turn. It’s especially dangerous in decks that can guarantee one clean hit and then leverage the extra combat to push through huge damage.
