As this land enters, you may reveal a Goblin card from your hand. If you don't, this land enters tapped.
T: Add B or R.
Mox strategy
Auntie's Hovel is a strong tribal fixing land for Goblin decks, especially Rakdos or black-red shells. Its main value is entering untapped if you reveal a Goblin, which makes it much better than a normal tapped dual in tribal builds.
Best use cases: aggressive Goblin decks, Commander tribal lists, and any deck with a high Goblin count that wants reliable B/R mana without much tempo loss. It’s especially good early when you can reveal a Goblin and curve out smoothly.
Synergies: it works best with dense Goblin hands, Goblin tutors, and cards that care about Goblins in hand or on board. It pairs naturally with tribe-heavy mana bases alongside other tribal lands like Cavern of Souls or Secluded Courtyard-style effects.
Key mechanics supported: tribal reveal, mana fixing, and tempo-friendly dual access. The big practical tip is to run enough Goblins that this usually enters untapped; otherwise it becomes much weaker as a slow land.
