Mox strategy
Acorn Harvest is a solid token-maker with built-in card advantage from flashback. Its main strength is repeatable board presence: four mana for two 1/1s is modest, but getting to cast it again from the graveyard makes it much better in grindy games and sacrifice-focused decks. It’s especially good with token payoffs, anthem effects, aristocrat engines, and anything that cares about creatures entering or dying.
Best synergies include sacrifice outlets, death triggers, populate-style token support, and Squirrel payoffs. Flashback also works well with graveyard recursion, self-mill, and effects that reduce spell costs or reward casting from the graveyard. The 3 life flashback cost is usually manageable if you’re using the tokens to stabilize, chump block, or fuel sacrifice loops.
It’s strongest in slower green decks, commander token shells, and pauper-style grindy builds where extra bodies matter more than raw efficiency.
