Best use cases are casual, theme, or novelty decks rather than competitive formats. It’s strongest when your deck naturally casts lots of cheap spells in a turn and has card diversity that increases the chance of new artist initials. If you can chain multiple spells with different artist initials early, it can snowball quickly. It synergizes best with cheap cantrips, rituals, token-makers that help you survive while you set up, and any deck that wants to cast many spells per turn. Effects that let you cast from exile or copy spells can also help you trigger it more often. The key mechanic it supports is spell-casting volume with a quirky “collect new initials” mini-game, but it is highly inconsistent and not practical for serious constructed play.
